Honest to Blog-I Cooked!

CHOW:
Everyone that knows me knows that I am useless in the kitchen. Well, not true, I'm good at eating in the kitchen.

The problem I have with cooking is I feel stressed to get it done by a certain time, or the amount of time it takes to cook. So... I'd rather not eat at all. I know, bad.

But I took some free time post-finals to try my hand at stirring and measuring. Here is what I made:

What: Carmel-apple Pork Chops (I don't eat chicken).
Review:
Chow: Awesome!
Russ: Tasty.

What: Mushroom and Asparagus Cous-cous with a Pistachio-vinaigrette Sauce
Review:
Chow: Like multiple flavor explosion in your mouth. Tasty.
Russ: Crunchy.

What: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies (Thanks to Stacy for the recipe!)
Review:
Chow: I think I at 25. They were so good!
Russ: Squishy

Then on Sunday, the real chef in the family stepped into the kitchen (Russ)

What: Potato Cheese Soup in Bread Bowls (All HOMEMADE!)
Review:
Chow: Classic greatness. Great comfort food to recover from law school.
Russ: Subtly delectable. But the bowls were a little heavy. The soup was good.

And that's our food from last week!

Mmmm that all looks soooo good! I am useless in the kitchen as well! I have maybe 2 good dinners I can do, that's about it. I like baking a little more but always cheat from the box. I NEVER make ANYTHING from scratch!
