I learned something this past week from my Constitutional Law professer (aka the Godfather of Baylor Law). Prof. Guinn has been teaching Con Law since the Cold War and is one of my favorite professors ever.

He has a wealth of knowledge. Recently he used a phrase that I will never forget, that I absolutely love:

The Phrase:

Country

Bumpkin

Now, you may know what this is. But I'd never heard of it before. It sounds really cute, especially when Godfather Guinn says it. However, the meaning of the word is not as endearing. Basically it's a uneducated country person who uses non-politically correct speech without knowing how offensive it is.

When I think about it I want to just giggle. Isn't it cute? Say it three times, you'll agree.

Ballet Tonight

So my tiny non-profit/ fundraiser Ballet Classes had their Spring Recital tonight. They did spectacular.

I loved it when my sweet sweet Russ pulled me aside as we were taking down the floor and cleaning up the dressing room and said, "I am so proud of you. I sat there and watched the girls dance and I was so amazed at what you put together and how much work you put into this".

That makes my heart smile.

I also appreciated one of dancer's moms tell me, "It was so professional, I can tell you've put on shows before".

Thanks. Thank you to my marvelous dancers. This was so much fun!

Trapped in a Box

I taught the young men and young women how to mime tonight. I think that's a pretty neat thing to learn, and to teach, the youth. I mean, it's cooler than painting a silly art project or throwing a basketball around. Anyway, it was fun! Enjoy these pics from Russ...
