Dear Fall: Come and Stay a While

Fall is my favorite season, and the first sign of fall came today.

It's September 1st.

So I'd like to roll out the welcome carpet to the fall season by blogging a little "Ode to Fall"

What is best about fall:

Fall Fashion:

Turtlenecks... YES.

Sweaters...

Tweed coats, scarves, and hats (this is just after Thanksgiving)

Boots! (Can't really see them, but I love boots!)

Fall Food:

Cheese Fest at Central Market

French Onion Soup

Those delicious pumpkin spice kisses

Craft-fooder-noon snacks!

Cookies! It's cold enough to turn the oven back on!

And my Favorite: HOT COCOA

Fall Festivities:

Birthday Parties!

General Conference!

Our traditional pumpkin patch visit

Carving Pumpkins

The Annual JRCLS Regional Activity

Halloween!

Family Pictures!

Visitors!

I could go on and on.

Welcome Fall!

I'm Ready

The rivers have been floated.

The vacations have happened.

The ballet recital has been recited.

The lazy Saturdays have been... lazy.

The farmer's market has been marketed.

The internship has been educational.

There's nothing left to do, but go back to school.

And I'm Ready.

I'm excited for fall.

For pants and sweaters.

For studying late in a library and talking with old friends.

For dinner from a frozen box.

For workouts at Golds Gym.

For facetime with a cute boy.

For whatever may be...

I'm Ready.
