Girl's Camp 2010- Swim

2 leaders
12 girls
1 week.

Camp this year was... different. Most years these girls just wanna have fun. But this year it was like these girls were ready to heal. Or deal with life. I guess most of them are getting older and more mature. But I cried a ton, I talked until I lost my voice, and I feel like I learned SO MUCH! I have a greater appreciation for the Gospel. For Jesus Christ. I felt overwhelmed with how much God loves and cares about these girls. I am so grateful I got to go to camp and serve these girls.

Hike @ Purgatory Creek

I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to serve the young women in my ward. Last Saturday I took 4 of the girls on an early morning hike. We got a little lost and ended up hiking 4 miles instead of 3. But the girls were troopers and I am so grateful for the time I get to spend with them! Here are some highlights:
I'm guessing this is a Chow lecture moment. As you can tell from Sanora's face, it was fascinating.

We hit a geo cache at the first of the trail. This was my first time geo caching and it was pretty cool to see all the stuff people had left behind.

Thanks Girls!

Kiley loves the late-night

You can tell from my friend's face how tired we were after staying up until 3 talking with our gals and getting ready for Girl's Camp.

No really, I'm excited. Camp is a week away.
Can't.
Hardly.
Wait!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

I promised the girls last year at Girl's Camp that if they drank a LOT of water, we would have a party.

They drank more than a LOT!

So! Here's some pics from our party:

Tianna playing the guitar

Chatting round the queso and cupcakes

The other girls playing Rock Band. Singing WE WILL ROCK 3x in a row!

Thanks girls! It was fun!
